What is Google Analytics?
Google Analytics is the ubiquitous web analytics application that seems to be on nearly every website on earth! And there is a reason for this: Google Analytics was, and still is, a game-changer.
For the first time, Google Analytics provided companies with the ability to “market with the lights on” using a free, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) package. In a matter of minutes after signing-up, you could start seeing where your website visitors are coming from, what they did on the site when they arrived. Importantly you could see if they took any action that is key to your business such as purchase a product or sign-up for an email newsletter.
As a Google Analytics Consultant I can help you unlock invaluable insight into your online business that will deliver a better website for your visitors and growth in leads and sales from your SEO, PPC or social media campaigns.
Will Google Analytics benefit my business?
Yes! You probably already have Google Analytics but, if not, add it now! The free version is incredibly powerful and you’ll wonder how you got by without it.
Without any form of website analytics you are effectively driving blind. You’ll be spending marketing funds on SEO, Paid Search, Social Media and other campaigns with little idea of whether they were a wise investment. Which is your best content and your worst? Why aren’t visitors registering or buying? Only web analytics can tell you this.
What’s your approach to Google Analytics?
Detailed, actionable insight!
Google Analytics provides huge amounts of web and visitor data with lots of way to slice, dice and compare it. The challenge is to know what you’re looking for and to extract actionable insight from the raw data so the return on investment of your website and campaigns is maximised.
On behalf of my clients, I’ve spent thousands of hours applying my knowledge of Google Analytics to help grow the number of visitors to their websites and to increase their leads or online revenue.
